Hi there, Yep same thing happened to us except we didn't have our kids with
us, thank goodness. I feel your pain.
You described that down to a tee even the " Chris"
We were first timers to Bali and that did ruin the holiday as we were stuck
2.5 hrs.
But get this! the same Balinese bloke tried stopped us two days later,
didn't recognize us and proceeded with the "I'm soooo Excited OOOOhhhh"
We let him continue for 5 min and were amazed at the exact speech. Now that
was entertaining ... Fool. We explained that we had already seen him etc and
he was a little embarrassed.
Will I think for my total inconvenience, I will book and not show? That way
the accommodation will be inconvenience in somewhat the same. WE HOPE.
