I got pulled up on the street as well and won a 'major prize' and had
to sit through a presentation. The irony of it all when the guy
mentioned 'Time Share' my thoughts instantly recollected an episode of
South Park. Google 'South Park Timeshare' and you will see what I
mean. Anyway it was this very thought which saved me from being fooled
by these guys or even getting close to excited as they were about what
it was they had on offer, I'm almost ashamed to say it but yes I
actually got an education from an episode of South Park, seriously who
would have thought that was even possible. Anyway this scam is still
going on January 2011 - I was told that it was their 'last day' that
this offer was being promoted etc etc. Anyway I've already had too
many emails claiming that I have a dead relative in Nigeria who owned
millions, or that google will pay me $2000 a week for nothing, we live
in the age of the internet where it's safe to assume that nearly
everything is a scam.
Peace out.
Tom
